4 year olds and up

These are all 4 year olds and up.  Some are green and some are ready to go on and do a job.   Depending on their training level, some are also listed in the Trail and Ranch horse pages.  These horses are all home raised out of our stallion and/or mares.

1-C}  PISTOL PACKING FLASH [Socks] — 2009 sorrel gelding — Sire: CALL HIM THE FLASH  —  A finished reiner that is drop dead gorgeous.  He has AQHA reining points with very limited showing.   Dam: Gunner Babe – Big, good looking granddaughter of Playgun, NCHA money earner of over $180,000.00 and a leading sire of cutting horses.
This sorrel gelding is VERY FLASHY!  He has four perfectly matched stockings.  He has gorgeous conformation and is ‘correct’ in every way.   He is 15.2 hands and weighs about 1200#.

Left – Pistol Packin Flash as a 3 year old and his dam on the right

Socks (pictured above) is well-started under saddle.    He has been ridden a lot in the canyons and mountains south of town and rides with sure-footed  confidence.   He goes anywhere you point his head with other horses or by himself.   He will leave a group of riders, never whinny and never look back.   He is big enough to make a roping horse and a ranch horse. He is talented enough to make a Cutting Horse or a Reined Cowhorse.  He is already a good trail horse.  You have got to see and ride this young gelding to appreciate his beauty and disposition.   He is another one that that likes people and comes when you call.

This gelding is very gentle but also is very ‘quick footed’.   He is way too quick for a beginning rider.  He is much more suited to someone that wants to finish him for Reined Cowhorse events or wants to do the Ranch Horse, Stock Horse or Sorting competitions.   This is a really exceptional gelding.  He would already be finished if we weren’t so darned old and crippled up.

He is 100% sound and ready to go.  Before more training — $5000.00.

Drifter dun -1

2-C}    (Wishbone)  2012  Dun Gelding.  Sire:  WAR CHIEFS PRIDE (Drifter)   Dam:  Zips Teardrop, a daughter of Investers Pine Bar out of Seven Teardrops, a mare that had AQHA points in Barrel Racing and Team Roping (heading).

This good looking 4 year old gelding is the last ‘Drifter’ foal born in the US.  He is an absolutely sound and solid trail horse.  He has had 2 1/2 years of trail and pasture riding.  He rides by`himself or with a large group of horses and has been used to pony horses.   He is very gentle and is really laid back — even a little lazy.  Wishbone is not spooky and has absolutely no bad habits. He is as excellent project horse for a novice rider to take on to Extreme Trail Challenge competition.  He would also make a good ranch gelding and pasture doctoring horse.  He is 15 hands and weighs about 1100#.   He is offered for $5000.00 now.

 Fummu face -1-a  gray filly-1

3-C} SASSY BLUE FLASH — 2012 Gray Mare — Sire: CALL HIM THE FLASH  —  a super finished reiner that is drop dead gorgeous.  He has AQHA reining points with very limited showing.  Dam:  Sassy Class Act,  one of our last daughters of Classical Silver.  Sassy Class Act won the weanling stakes at the Oklahoma Foundation Quarter Horse Association show when she was a baby (out of 7 fillies shown) and won over $700.00.
This gorgeous gray filly sired by Call Him The Flash can go any direction.  We bought her maternal grandmother from the Waggoner Ranch (of Poco Bueno fame) and this filly’s dam was her last foal.   She was a granddaughter of Sassy Doc and Hired Hand’s Cardinal. She was an AQHA producer with a filly that was exported to Europe.  You cannot get any closer to the great Foundation Sires than through this gray filly.   She is eligible for the Foundation Registries and all of their classes.  She will win at halter and in performance.  She will mature 15 – 15.1 hands, has excellent legs and feet and is very well made.  She has a HUGE hip and hind leg and a baby-doll head.   I would love to show this filly, but know that I am physically unable.

This good looking young mare has had about 90 days of riding.  She rides gentle (never offered to buck) and has been pasture ridden a lot but she is still very green.   She has a lot of ability and we would like to see her go to a performance home.   She would show very successfully in the Foundation Shows or the Ranch or stock horse shows.    This is the young mare that catches everyone’s eye.  This young mare has the conformation and quality to be a $10,000.00 mare.   Before she receives more training (summer, 2916), she is offered for $3500.00.

2-D} GITER DUN NOW — 2013 Dun Gelding.  Sire: CALL HIM THE FLASH  —  a super finished reiner that is drop dead gorgeous.  He has AQHA reining points with very limited showing.  Dam –War Chiefs Pride)  daughter that we trail rode for several years and is now one of our best producers.

This colt  is drop dead gorgeous.  He will mature about 14.3 to 15 hands.  He was was ridden several times last fall and then turned out.  He rode very gentle and never even humped up or thought about bucking.  He is not only beautiful, he is a pretty mover and is very athletic.+ He is make a cowhorse, sorting horse or all-around performance horse.   If we could still ride, we would be heading him toward the AQHA Ranch Horse Division shows.    His price will go up with more training.  SOLD and now in California.
