2016 TWO YEAR OLDS

A SET OF REALLY OUTSTANDING PROSPECTS

This is without a doubt, the nicest set of two year old prospects we have ever raised.  They are all being started under saddle, now.  We do not start them until they are a full 2 years old and their joints are mature enough to stand training without the soundness issues seen in horses that have been pushed too hard too early.   So, They spent a lot of time saddled up and just standing tied quietly until June and July.   So, they are gentle, used to being handled, have stood quietly for saddling and are now being ground driven and the first ones are being ridden.

THESE ARE GOOD-MINDED GREAT 'PROJECT HORSES'

For several years now (since we have gotten too old to finish horses), we have sold started prospects as 'project horses'.  They have gone to nearly every state in the country to happy owners that have taken them on to make outstanding ranch horses, roping horses, trail horses, and show horses.  They are bred to be good-minded and user friendly, athletic, cowey and bred to stay sound for many years.   Many go to repeat buyers each year that finish and resell them and start a new project each year.

HORSES SUITABLE FOR RANCH, RODEO, TRAIL AND SHOW PERFORMANCE!

Horses we have started and sold have earned 7 AQHA World Championships, 8 Reserve World Championships, numerous ROMs and Superiors and many year-end awards in several Associations and State organizations.  They have excelled in extreme trail and ranch horse competition.  We are planning a 'congratulations' page to show many of our graduates.

TWO YEAR OLD PROSPECTS -- September, 2018

(1) 2016 SORREL (Rabicano) FILLY

Sire:  Call Him The Flash.  Dam is a big, stout, Doc's Hickory / Mr Gunsmoke bred mare.  A very nice performance prospect that 'herds' everything in her pasture from horses to ducks and geese.  She has been ground mannered and gentled, driven and ridden about 3 or 4 times without any resistance.  She is more than ready to take on.  $4000.00 before more training.

(2) 2016 DUN FILLY

Sire:  San Dunit Two Peppy, son of Dunit With A Twist.  Dam:  a good daughter of Call Him The Flash.  She was also lost right after the tornado.  She is a top AQHA ranch division prospect with the conformation to win in ranch / performance halter.   She has been gentled, mannered and is ready to ground-drive and ride. $5000.00 before more training

(3) 2016 GRAY GELDING

Sire: San Dunit Two Peppy, son of Dunit With A Twist. Dam: Gunner Babe, granddaughter of Playgun.  A very good looking gray gelding with color and conformation.  Much ground-work has been done.  He has been gentled, taught manners, saddled and ground driven.  He is ready to ride   $3500.00 before training.

(4) 2016 SORREL FILLY

Sire: Palo Duro Cat (NCHA $10,500.00) by Highbrow Cat out of Shania Cee (NCHA $503,000.00).  Dam: Call Him The Flash and Playgun breeding.  She is 100% sound, but has scars from the tornado.  (Visible on the photo).  She has been handled, mannered and saddled several times.  She is ready to ground-drive and ride.  She is gentle natured and a VERY NICE prospect.   $2000.00 before training

(5) 2016 SORREL FILLY

Sire: Call Him The Flash, earner of AQHA reining points.  Dam:  Our only Pleasure-bred mare.  Just like all of her other foals, this one is super quiet and born broke.  She is a great 'project horse' for a recreational rider, a novice rider/trainer or youth.  She was just turned out all summer with older mares, so she looks a little tough.  But, when fitted, she is a very pretty mare with excellent conformation.

$2500.00 before training under saddle.

(6) 2016 BAY FILLY

Sire:  Call Him The Flash.  Dam:  Daughter of Bart Bartender (AQHA points in 5 events).  This filly is very quick footed and fast.  She will have a bigger motor than most of our horses.  She has been handled a lot and has stood around saddled.  She is ready to ground-drive and ride.

SOLD
