GLENVIEW KANE, is his registered name, but we just call him TINY. He came to us at 8 years of age, barely halter broke, He was broke to ride at the age of 10 by our son, Terry. After only a half dozen rides, they went to town for the Veterans Day Parade (above). His rider in this photo is our son, Terry, 6' 4" and well over 300# in this picture. Tiny and Terry are 'best friends forever'!! TINY has been easy to trim and shoe even though he had never had a foot picked up before he was 9 years old. Is this the kind of disposition and trainability you want?
After only a few training sessions, he was pulling wagons in heavy traffic (including many semis). He passes his calm, quiet, trainable disposition on to EVERY foal -- but, they are handy and are NOT DEADHEADS!
At 16.3 and 1800#, Tiny is small for a Percheron, but is exactly what we were looking for to cross on our best Quarter Horse mares. But, he has the bone, feet and strength of the Percheron without being 18 hands tall.
TINY is standing to a limited number of visiting mares in 2021 for a fee of $600.00 -- live foal guaranteed or return.
Concessions to returning customers and multiple mare discounts!
Mares booked in 2020 will still be bred for $500.00.
We hunted for more than 2 years for a Percheron stallion that was not real tall, but had exceptional bone and feet, a good head and was 'clean legged'. When you 'use horses' for a living and they live out in the pasture, you do not particularly want to keep feathers clean. And, we know you don't ride a horse's head, but it hangs right out there in front of you where you have to look at it all day. We've been breeding our good AQHA mares, mostly daughters of Call Him The Flash and War Chiefs Pride (Drifter) to TINY. They are producing big, stout colts that have very good bone and feet, good minds and all act like they were born broke. That calm, draft horse nature is coming through. They are very smart and learn quickly, offering little or no resistance. They aren't 'goosey' or 'spooky'. They all are maturing around 15.2 to 16.1 hands with outstanding bone and feet. They're just strong and good boned & They are 'easy on the eye'! We will have 10 foals in 2021. We also have mares for sale that are Vet-checked in foal to TINY for 2021. CALL!
Well, we have raised good saddle horses for more than 50 years. During that time, people have been getting a lot bigger while the good cowbred horses (particularly good cutting horses) have gotten a lot smaller. At the same time, many ranches are now raising rodeo stock, particularly bucking bulls for the big PBR and PRCA rodeos. These cows can weigh over 1600# and a lot of the bulls weigh over a ton. Saddle broncs are often over 1500#. These draft cross colts are quiet and gentle natured but still have a lot more athletic ability than straight draft horses and are a lot stronger and 'thicker' than any Quarter Horse. Most importantly, THEY HAVE GREAT BONE AND REALLY GOOD FEET! They are not extremely tall like the Thoroughbred crosses are. We think Tiny is giving us the perfect cross -- STRONG, STOUT, GREAT BONE AND FEET BUT NOT 17+ HANDS TALL.
We have never had an entire set of young horses that are this easy going and easy to train. They have exceptional bone and feet without being coarse, 'Roman nosed' and clunky or 'ugly'. They are nice headed (but then Tiny has a beautiful head). They are clean legged (no 'high maintenance feathers'. They are very easy on the eye. Every one of them has Tiny's 'laid back' great disposition. They try to please from the very first time they are handled. They have less resistance and 'push-back' than anything we have ever seen. Several have been started and trained by novice riders that never trained a horse before.
His first sons and daughters are now turning 5 years old and are riding great under saddle, being roped off of, handling rodeo stock and are user friendly! They are just unbelievably easy to train.
This is a 2018 young stallion by Tiny pictured in September, 2020 at 28 months of age. His dam is a registered AQHA mare sired by Call Him The Flash, cowhorse and roping horse (with AQHA reining points). He is very kind and gentle natured, especially for a young stallion. He runs with mature geldings and rides like a gelding. He has been ridden in the pasture and Arbuckle Mountains after a handfull of rides.
He is Gentle, Gentle, Gentle. This colt has excellent conformation, perfect legs and feet and a very 'clean' head and neck for a draft cross. He is an excellent mover and handles himself very well. He is really big and stout, and is making a great ranch horse. He will mature 15.2 - 16.0 hands and should weigh around 1400#. He is exceptional.
This nice young stud is not being priced at this time. He rides very gentle and is exceptionally smooth gaited. He has never offered to buck and shows no resistance to anything that has been asked of him. A big "Thank you" to everyone that has wanted to buy him.
We will breed a few mares to him in 2021. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will produce his bone, feet and substance in colts that are 3/4 QH and 1/4 Percheron and have his laid back disposition. He is a pleasure to handle and ride.

Sire: TINY.
Dam: AQHA mare that is one of our best ranch mares. She is sired by Call Him The Flash, our Cowbred stallion with AQHA Reining Points. Her dam is our old PLAYGUN granddaughter. She is pictured below Number (3), with her 2020 filly - a full sister to this nice filly.
[This nice filly cut her left front coronet band as a foal. It was not a serious cut, it healed nicely BUT, it left a permanent flaw that will always grow down her hoof. She has never been unsound on it and it has never cracked open. The Vet says it will never be a problem. She is sound on it barefoot, but keeping it shod or keeping it trimmed will insure soundness, even with hard work. We always try to be very 'up front' about any defects, so now you know as much about her as we do.]
She will be big and is a beautiful mover. We have had people tell us that she could be a great hunter prospect. She will mature about 16.0 to 16.2 hands, making her one of our bigger, taller youngsters. She is ready to start lightly. Like all of our draft crosses, she could be registered with the American Warmblood Registry.
Our 12 year old granddaughter is taking her for a 4-H futurity project for 2021.
We will document her progress!

Dam: Drifters Blue Zip, an AQHA daughter of WAR CHIEFS PRIDE (Drifter), 100% Cowhorse/ roping breeding, our old double bred Driftwood stallion that we exported to the UK.
This bay draft cross colt was foaled in May, 2020. He is shown here in December, 2020 at 7 months of age. His dam is one of our best mares. She is our heaviest muscled mare. This bay colt has excellent feet and bone. He should grow to about 15.2 hands, will be very heavily made and will weigh around 1400# when mature. Of all of our draft crosses, he will be the most heavily muscled. He is very quiet and not 'spooky' by nature! He is a real 'people horse'. Out in the pasture, he has come to people from the day he was born. He is still intact, but will be gelded in late spring if he has not been sold. He is of good enough quality and out of a good enough mare to be a sire prospect for a ranch. He will sire strong foals with good bone and feet -- the kind that can drag a big cow or rank bull into a trailer. Or he can be gelded and make a quiet trail horse or ranch gelding that can carry a big rider all day in the mountains.

SIRE: TINY
Dam is 'Lefty', our best daughter of Call Him The Flash. Her dam is a daughter of Bay Elegance, a great cowhorse that was high point Working Cowhorse back in 1982. She was sired by Doty's Socks Jr, Cheri's old AQHA Champion foundation sire with AQHA Points in 10 events and an NCHA Certificate Of Ability.
Just look at this filly's bone and feet. She looks like a well made Quarter Horse but with more bone, better feet and more size. This is the perfect cross for the rider that wants the bone and substance of a draft with the looks, ability and 'cow' of an exceptional cowbred Quarter Horse. There are few if any AQHA/Percheron crosses with her breeding and quality to be found anywhere. She is probably the most athletic and 'quick footed' draft cross that we have raised. She can really move and get around. We just wish we were not too old to ride her.

BUTTERSCOTCH is sired by 'Tiny' and out of 'FANCY', a Drifter daughter. She is going to stay buckskin. She is going to mature about 15.2 hands and will probably weigh around 1400#. The photos at the left was taken in January, 2020 when she was 3 and still growing. She is gentle, likes people and has excellent manners. She is really easy going but is NO dead-head. She will make a super quiet, big, stout ranch horse or recreational saddle horse, deluxe. This is a really nice filly. The video and top photo were taken in January, 2020. Her dam, is for sale bred to a Haflinger stallion for 2021.

SOLD and now living in Nevada
This is FANCY, Biuerscotch's dam. She is a 9 year old daughter of Drifter, our double bred Driftwood stallion that we sold and exported to the UK. She is bred to a Haflinger stallion for an April, 2021 foal. Fanch was grulla when she was foaled. She carries the grulla/dun gene as well as the gray gene. She has produced grulla, dun (like Butterscotch) and gray foals. She had a beautiful blond filly by the same Haflinger stallion she is currently in foal to. All of her foals have been very correct and good looking with excellent bone and feet. They have trained very well. She was started under saddle several years ago, but we are selling her as unbroke. Her Haflinger cross foal sold for more than that last year. She sells with free breeding privileges to our young gray Percheron cross stallion in 2021.
FANCY is for sale for $2000.00 with breeding privileges in 2021 to our young stallion.
Sire: Tiny, our registered Percheron stallion. Dam: Dun (turned gray) Quarter Horse mare by Drifter. Very good looking and extremely well-balanced youngster -- pictured at 21 months (February, 2019. [He could gray out, but at this point, he looks like he will stay buckskin / dun.] This is our only 2 year old in 2019. His dam was bred right before the 2016 tornado. After the tornado, all of our horses were scattered all over the region being taken care of by friends, so there were no more 2017 foals.
This gelding is a very good looking Dun (possibly turning gray) colt. Very stout, heavy boned colt that will make a top ranch / rodeo horse that will be able to handle big cattle and rough stock. He is even more heavily muscled than his sister, Butterscotch, the 2016 buckskin filly pictured above. He is a good moving young gelding with very correct conformation. He is a 'people horse' -- the first to greet you at the gate and a real 'lover'.
SOLD and living in Minnesota
This nice colt's dam is one of our best AQHA mares. She is a daughter of Call Him The Flash. She was out of a Foundation-bred ranch mare that we rode for years and used to do everything here on the ranch. He is another one that was just 'born broke'. He rides nicely at a walk, trot and lope and is already a very pleasant ride, even though he is still green and has no 'handle' yet. He has never had even a small 'hump' in his back. Everything we do with him -- well, he acts like he has done it before. He has the best attitude ever. He is VERY laid back --- a 1 or 2 on a scale of 1-10, but Mac willingly moves out when asked and is not a 'dead-head'.
This young gelding has it all: He has color, conformation, bone, and ability. He should mature about 15.2 hands and weigh 1400#. This photo was taken in September, 2018. Watch for more current photos of him under saddle. He is an excellent ranch horse prospect. He will be ideal for use as an arena pick-up horse or to rope and handle BIG cattle and rodeo stock. He already rides out in the pasture or trail in really rough country like a 10 year old.
Here is a link to a short video of Big Mac out on the trail.
This filly is exceptionally good looking and has a very good disposition. Her dam is one of our best looking daughters of Call Him The Flash. This filly will mature around 15.2 - 15.3 hands. She is probably the most athletic of all of the 2016 cross-breds and sure has the color and looks to go with it. She is very good minded and very strong and thick without being extremely tall.
This big girl has been ridden many times, including on the trail and out in the pasture. She has never offered to buck or bolt. When we rode her the first time, she acted like she had been ridden several times before. It really pays off to do as much ground driving as we do. These photos were taken September, 2018 at 28 months old. She will be priced again according to her training.

Sire: Glenview Kane (Tiny) registered Percheron. Dam: AQHA Call Him The Flash daughter that was out of our best Drifter Daughter, Zan's Tonya. He is currently 14.3 hands and will mature about 15.1 or 15.2.
Very good looking bay gelding. Heavy boned stout colt that should make a top ranch / rodeo horse that can handle roughstock. He is further behind than most of the two year olds because his dam was killed in the tornado when he was only 10 days old. He is catching up and going to make a very nice gelding. He is very athletic and handles himself exceptionally well. Photo taken February, 2018.
