GLENVIEW KANE, is his registered name, but we just call him TINY. He came to us at 8 years of age, barely halter broke, He was broke to ride at the age of 10 by our son, Terry. After only a half dozen rides, they went to town for the Veterans Day Parade (above). His rider in this photo is our son, Terry, 6' 4" and well over 300# in this picture. Tiny and Terry are 'best friends forever'!! TINY has been easy to trim and shoe even though he had never had a foot picked up before he was 8 years old. Is this the kind of disposition and trainability you want? Take a good look at his offspring -- these are not your ordinary draft cross 'clunky' horses that ride they should be in harness. These horses ride like good cow-bred Quarter Horses but with more size, substance and a lot better bone and feet. They'll work a cow, get you in position to rope one and will pull really hard off the horn. Just about everybody tells us that they are the best looking draft crosses they have ever seen.
After only a few training sessions, he was pulling wagons in heavy traffic (including many semis). He passes his calm, quiet, trainable disposition on to EVERY foal -- but, they are handy and are NOT DEADHEADS! They are not 'heavy' on their forehands; they are, athletic, 'light' and handy!
At 16.3 and 1800#, Tiny is small for a Percheron, but is exactly what we were looking for to cross on our best Quarter Horse mares. He has the bone, feet, strength and laid back disposition of the Percheron without being 18 hands tall.
Go to our YouTube Channel. I have uploaded several videos of his sons and daughters ridden under saddle and turned loose to see how they move.

This beautiful young draft cross mare is a daughter of TINY. Her dam is a registered Quarter Horse daughter of Call Him The Flash. Her dam is a great ranch mare that has both worked cattle in the pen, was used to rope and doctor them in the pasture and gathered big herds in huge, rough pastures. She has a great mind. She literally was 'born broke'.
This is an outstanding young mare that has been ridden extensively in big pastures and in the Arbuckle Mountains just south of us. She willingly goes anywhere you point her head (as you can see from the snapshot). She has been trained here at the ranch where she has NEVER offered to buck; she rides the same every time you get on her. A video will be posted shortly. She is traffic broke and has been ridden many times along the busy US Highway that goes past the ranch. Ready to go to a new Zip Code!!!
She has excellent bone and feet like all of these draft crosses have. She has the laid back, calm, non-reactive draft disposition, with the cow-sense and ability of a good Quarter Horse. They are great to ride for any ranch job or trail riding. They stay broke, and ride the same, even when you don't ride them for several weeks or longer.
Contact us for her current price. Her price obviously changes as her training goes forward.
Sire: TINY.
Dam: An exceptional registered AQHA granddaughter of Dunit With A Twist (Earner of over $100,000 cutting). His dam has Hollywood DunIt and Doc's Sug on her papers. This is not your average draft cross horse. He is a very stunning 'one-of-a-kind' stud prospect.
His Dam has excellent conformation with great, fantastic color and 'class'.
Like all of our draft crosses, he can be registered with the American Warmblood Registry and the Half Percheron Registry.
He is going to be big, strong, and thick, a true Buckskin that will stand about 15.2 and weigh about 1300#+ when mature. He is very, very gentle natured, like all of Tiny's babies.

This stunning stud colt is sired by TINY and is out of an outstanding AQHA registered granddaughter of Dun It With A Twist ($100,000.00 NCHA earnings), the only son of Hollywood Dun It that was also a great cutting horse. This colt is shown at 4 months.
Just take a good look at this colt. He is a true 'Buttermilk Buckskin' with very correct, outstanding conformation. He has a gorgeous head (better than most Quarter Horses). He has HUGE, wide-set, soft eyes. He is an exceptionally nice mover for a draft cross. He is truly ONE-OF-A-KIND.

We hunted for more than 2 years for a Percheron stallion that was not real tall, but had exceptional bone and feet, a good head and was 'clean legged'. When you 'use horses' for a living and they live out in the pasture, you can't keep feathers clean and fungus is impossible to keep out. We know you don't ride a horse's head, but it hangs out there in front of you where you have to look at it all day. We've been breeding our good AQHA mares, mostly daughters of Call Him The Flash and War Chiefs Pride (Drifter) to TINY. They are producing big, stout colts that have very good bone and feet, good minds and all act like they were born broke. That calm, draft horse nature is coming through. They are very smart and learn quickly, offering little or no resistance. They aren't 'goosey' or 'spooky'. They all are maturing around 15.1 to 16.1 hands with outstanding bone and feet. They're just strong and good boned & they are 'easy on the eye'! Our 2022 babies are here. We are selling these outstanding foals for delivery on weaning. The registered AQHA mare pictured here has anther outstanding bay stud foal at her side now. Come look at them.
Well, we have raised good saddle horses for more than 50 years. During that time, people have been getting a lot bigger while the good cowbred horses (particularly good cutting horses) have gotten a lot smaller. At the same time, many ranches are now raising rodeo stock, particularly bucking bulls for the big PBR and PRCA rodeos. These cows can weigh over 1600# and a lot of the bulls weigh over a ton. Saddle broncs are 1300# or more. These draft cross colts are quiet and gentle natured but still have a lot more athletic ability than straight draft horses or Belgian crosses. They are a lot stronger and 'thicker' than any Quarter Horse and most importantly, THEY HAVE GREAT BONE AND REALLY GOOD FEET! They have good 'saddle backs' with great withers! Ranchers and cowboys love them! Recreational riders love them! People raising them to sell love them!!! They are not extremely tall and leggy like the Thoroughbred crosses are. We think Tiny is giving us the perfect cross!
THEY ARE NOT 17+ HANDS TALL! THEY ARE NOT 'ROMAN NOSED', CLUNKY OR UGLY. THEY ARE GOOD HEADED, CLEAN LEGGED, NATURALLY QUIET AND LAID BACK, EASY TO TRAIN, HAVE GREAT BONE AND FEET, ARE VERY CORRECT AND THEY ARE 'BEAUTIFUL'!
They try to please from the very first time they are handled. They have less resistance and 'push-back' than anything we have ever seen. Several have been started and trained by novice riders that never trained a horse before.
His first sons and daughters are now 7 years old and are riding great under saddle, working cattle, being roped off, being trail ridden, etc. They are truly user friendly!
Shadow is a big, stout (mostly Hancock and King bred) black mare that is very gentle, well broke, and guaranteed in foal to TINY. She is absolutely 100% sound and healthy. She will foal in the spring of 2024. She was ridden in a feed-yard prior to being brought here to be bred to TINY.
Shadow stands 15.3 and has excellent bone and feet. This is a big, strong mare.
Her owner sent her to be bred and then had to suddenly move with their job and could not keep her. We have had her here now for over a year. Her registration papers and transfer are in order.
Her foal will be worth more than her asking price, the day it is born.
Shadow is very reasonably priced at SOLD
This is a 2018 young stallion by Tiny pictured in September, 2020 at 28 months of age. His dam is a registered AQHA mare sired by Call Him The Flash, cowhorse and roping horse (with AQHA reining points). He is very kind and gentle natured, especially for a young stallion. He runs with mature geldings and rides like a gelding. He has been ridden in the pasture and Arbuckle Mountains after a handfull of rides.
He is Gentle, Gentle, Gentle. This young stud has excellent conformation, perfect legs and feet and a very 'clean' head and neck for a draft cross. He is an excellent mover and handles himself very well. He is really big and stout, and is making a great ranch horse. He will mature 15.2 - 15.3 hands and should weigh around 1350#. He is exceptional.
He rides very gentle and is exceptionally smooth gaited. He has never offered to buck and shows no resistance to anything that has been asked of him. HIs beautiful full sister (foaled May, 2021) is already sold.
He has 3 very nice foals on the ground. It looks like they are going to have good bone and feet and excellent conformation. He is a pleasure to handle and ride.

He has only been available to a limited number of outside mares. He is being used daily as a ranch horse and is a staying pretty busy. He is as good a ranch horse as you can throw a saddle on! His first colts are really nice.
This good looking gray stallion is for sale!

She is going to be big and stout with exceptionally heavy bone and good feet. We were going to keep her and her buckskin full sister to make a 'one-of-a-kind' rare Buckskin team. Sire: TINY (Registered Percheron)
Dam: AQHA Dunit With A Twist / Colonel Freckles cowbred palomino mare. This filly was grulla color when she foaled. She probably carries the 'dilute' gene and is actually a 'smokey black' that would breed like she was a palomino or buckskin.
This is a really exceptional filly. She has the best head and softest eye you will ever see on a draft cross horse. She will mature with very heavy muscle and exceptional conformation. She is a very pretty mover. One of the classiest draft cross fillies you will ever see. I think she is one of the best fillies we have ever raised. This is a drop-dead gorgeous 2 year old filly.
She has now been well started and has been ridden numerous times in the pasture and in the rugged Arbuckle Mountains. SOLD

SIRE: TINY
Dam is 'Lefty', our best daughter of Call Him The Flash. Lefty's dam is a daughter of Bay Elegance, a great cowhorse that was high point Working Cowhorse back in 1982. She was sired by Doty's Socks Jr, Cheri's old AQHA Champion foundation sire with AQHA Points in 10 events and an NCHA Certificate Of Ability.
Just look at this colt's bone and feet. He looks like a well made Quarter Horse but with more bone, better feet and more size. This is the perfect cross for the rider that wants the bone and substance of a draft with the looks, ability and 'cow' of an exceptional cowbred Quarter Horse. There are few if any AQHA/Percheron crosses with his breeding and quality to be found anywhere. He is probably the most athletic and 'quick footed' draft cross that we have raised. He can really move and get around. I just wish I was not too old to ride him. This is the very best yearling gelding we have.

This is FANCY, Biuerscotch's dam. She is also the dam of a 2021 gelding by a Haflinger stallion and a 2021 stud foal by the gray draft cross stallion pictured above.
Her 2022 foal is sired by our young gray stallion, making her a granddaughter of TINY. For sale - #6 above.
Sire: Tiny, our registered Percheron stallion. Dam: Dun (turned gray) Quarter Horse mare by Drifter. Very good looking and extremely well-balanced youngster -- pictured at 21 months [February, 2019. [He could gray out, but at this point, he looks like he will stay buckskin / dun.] This is our only 2 year old in 2019. His dam was bred right before the 2016 tornado. After the tornado, all of our horses were scattered all over the region being taken care of by friends, so there were no more 2017 foals.
This gelding is a very good looking Dun (possibly turning gray) colt. Very stout, heavy boned colt that will make a top ranch/ rodeo horse that will be able to handle big cattle and rough stock. He is even more heavily muscled than his sister, Butterscotch, the 2016 buckskin filly pictured above. He is a good moving young gelding with very correct conformation. He is a 'people horse' -- the first to greet you at the gate and a real 'lover'.
SOLD and living in Minnesota
This nice colt's dam is one of our best AQHA mares. She is a daughter of Call Him The Flash. She was out of a Foundation-bred ranch mare that we rode for years and used to do everything here on the ranch. He is another one that was just 'born broke'. He rides nicely at a walk, trot and lope and is already a very pleasant ride, even though he is still green and has no 'handle' yet. He has never had even a small 'hump' in his back. Everything we do with him -- well, he acts like he has done it before. He has the best attitude ever. He is VERY laid back --- a 1 or 2 on a scale of 1-10, but Mac willingly moves out when asked and is not a 'dead-head'.
This young gelding has it all: He has color, conformation, bone, and ability. He should mature about 15.1 hands and weighs about 1400# in the photo, taken Spring, 2021. He is making an excellent ranch horse. He would be ideal for use as an arena pick-up horse or to rope and handle BIG cattle and rodeo stock.
Here is a link to a short video of Big Mac out on the trail as a baby 2 year old.
This filly is exceptionally good looking and has a very good disposition. Her dam is one of our best looking daughters of Call Him The Flash. This filly will mature around 15.2 - 15.3 hands. She is probably the most athletic of all of the 2016 cross-breds and sure has the color and looks to go with it. She is very good minded and very strong and thick without being extremely tall.
This big girl has been ridden many times, including on the trail and out in the pasture. She has never offered to buck or bolt. When we rode her the first time, she acted like she had been ridden several times before. It really pays off to do as much ground driving as we do. These photos were taken September, 2018 at 28 months old. She will be priced again according to her training.
